Kennel Tours:
Our kennel is located in Chugiak, Alaska. Only 20 minutes from
downtown Anchorage. Your musher/guide, Tim Forbus will introduce you
to his sled dogs and the team leaders, followed by a demonstration
of sled harnessing and mushing preparation. You will learn about our
winter training program as we prepare for mid distance races. There
is plenty of time for photos and questions.

We would like to share with you the beauty and excitement of mushing
a dog team. As you travel through Alaska's back country trails by
dog team, you quickly see why mushing has grown in popularity. You
will see country and wildlife like never before.
Jump on in the comfort of a warn sled, relax, and enjoy the wilderness
around you. Bring your camera and lots of film!
Trip Prices:
All trips include a brief introduction to mushing, the dogs, gear,
voice commands and trail procedures.
$30.00 Three mile scenic trip:
Get a taste of mushing on our 3 mile sled ride though groomed
trails.

What to bring:
Winter temperatures average from 20 degrees ( F ) to 20 below. Thermal
underwear - mid to heavy weight (polypropylene), winter outerwear
(gortex outer shell is recommended and polar fleece layers), warm
socks (wool or wick-away layers), face mask or neck gaiter, winter
boots, winter hat, mittens or warm gloves, camera and extra rolls
of film.
